Mr. Obonyo holds Master of Arts in Economics and Bachelor of Arts (Economics Major)
degrees from the University of Nairobi. He is an Economist by profession with over 15
years’ experience in Public Service Management, National Development Planning,
Health Policy and Strategy formulation and implementation. He served as a Secretary to
the National Steering Committee on The Policy, Legislation and Institutional Framework
for the National Values System for Kenya. He is currently a PhD candidate at the
School of Economics, University of Nairobi.
